Dusong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, headed by Director Kim Dong-hyun, announced that it signed a mutual cooperation agreement with Busan Offshore Wind Power for community coexistence on October 20, 2026.

The agreement was pursued to pool efforts in promoting the welfare of local residents based on the experience and resources held by both organizations and to contribute to the development of the community.

The significance lies not in stopping at a mere agreement but in expanding the scope of cooperation through welfare and cultural activities that residents can experience in their daily lives.

Launching concrete activities

The two organizations plan to begin full-scale cooperation through the "Dusong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center 2026 Community Cultural Event Coexistence Day" to be held on October 26, 2026.

This event will be an opportunity for community residents to come together, communicate and share bonds of community, and is expected to serve as a starting point for the cooperation between the two organizations to translate into actual community activities.

Importance of sustained partnership

In particular, since promoting local welfare is difficult to achieve through the efforts of welfare institutions alone, a cooperation system in which businesses and the community continuously show interest and participate is important.

When a company connects its resources and social responsibility with the welfare needs of the region, it can broaden the scope of resident support and help strengthen solidarity and trust among community members.

Director Kim Dong-hyun of Dusong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center said, "I hope this agreement will lead to activities that provide practical help to local residents," and added, "The two organizations will share their experience and resources, achieve coexistence with the community, and actively cooperate to promote local welfare."

Dusong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center plans to continue pursuing various activities with Busan Offshore Wind Power to promote the welfare of local residents and community coexistence.

Attention will focus on whether this agreement leads to sustained cooperation that brings real change to residents' lives rather than remaining a one-time event.

When the community and businesses connect their respective roles and resources, the foundation for sustainable development of the community as well as local welfare is expected to expand further.
