About Korea Offshore Wind Intelligence

Korea is one of the most consequential offshore wind markets in Asia — and one of the least understood by the international industry.

With 27.7 GW in active project pipeline, a landmark Special Act now in force, and the government committing to 25 GW by 2035, the decisions being made in Seoul today will shape Asia-Pacific's offshore wind landscape for the next decade. Yet nearly all of the critical information — government notices, ministry decisions, industry developments, regulatory updates — originates in Korean and never reaches the international developer, investor, or supply chain community in a timely or actionable form.

Korea Offshore Wind Intelligence exists to close that gap.

What We Do

We track Korea's offshore wind market at the source — reading Korean-language government publications, regulatory filings, ministry announcements, and industry reporting directly — and translate that into structured, analyst-grade intelligence in English.

Our coverage spans three formats:

Deep Dive — Comprehensive analysis of policy frameworks, regulatory changes, auction structures, grid infrastructure, and market dynamics. Written for professionals making investment and entry decisions.

Daily News — Curated, concise reporting on market-moving developments, updated continuously.

News Brief — Fast-format summaries of key headlines for readers tracking the market on the go.

Who We Are

Korea Offshore Wind Intelligence is published by a team with direct experience in Korea's energy sector — spanning regulatory affairs, project development, and market analysis. We are independent. We have no commercial relationships with developers, investors, or suppliers active in the Korean market, and we do not accept sponsored content.

Our editorial position is simple: the international industry deserves the same quality of market intelligence on Korea that it expects for the UK, Germany, or Taiwan. We are building that.

Who Reads This

Our readers are offshore wind developers evaluating Korea market entry, infrastructure investors tracking the project pipeline, supply chain companies assessing procurement opportunities, and energy professionals who need to stay current on one of Asia's most active regulatory environments.
