Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO) and Jeju National University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to expand industrial-academic cooperation in various fields including renewable energy project development, research and development, and professional workforce training.
The partnership aims to support the realization of carbon neutrality in the Jeju region and facilitate energy transition by combining KOMIPO's on-site operational experience as a state-owned power company with Jeju National University's research capabilities.
