KOSPO (Korea Southern Power) announced on October 15 that it held a meeting with Busan Mayor Jeon Jae-soo at Busan City Hall on October 14 and requested the city's active cooperation for the smooth promotion of the Dadaepo Offshore Wind Power Project.
At the meeting, KOSPO President Kim Jun-dong explained the environmental and economic value of the Dadaepo offshore wind project and requested Busan's continued interest and administrative support for successful project completion. The project is currently proceeding with military licence consultations with units under the Ministry of National Defense with support from Busan, and both sides agreed to maintain close communication to complete consultations smoothly by the second half of this year.
