Daihan Cable achieved record-breaking quarterly results in the second quarter, reporting operating profit of 60.8 billion won, representing a 113% increase compared to the same period last year, and revenue of 1.2 trillion won, marking a 30.8% growth rate. These figures represent the company's highest quarterly performance since its establishment.

The strong performance was primarily driven by the expansion of the ultra-high voltage and submarine cable business segments. The company successfully expanded its presence in overseas markets, particularly in North America and Singapore, which contributed significantly to the revenue growth and profitability improvements during the quarter.

A notable milestone was achieved as Daihan Cable's order backlog exceeded 4 trillion won for the first time in the company's history. This substantial order backlog reflects growing global demand for high-voltage cables, which has been accelerated by the expansion of AI data centers and increased investments in power grid infrastructure worldwide.

The company's strong performance underscores its strategic positioning in the global energy infrastructure market, particularly as demand for advanced cable solutions continues to surge amid the global transition toward renewable energy and digital infrastructure expansion.
