Unison announced its growth strategy to achieve 1 trillion won in annual revenue by 2030, transitioning from turbine manufacturing to a comprehensive wind energy company covering development, operations, and maintenance (O&M).
The company plans to deploy a dual-track strategy combining indigenous 10MW offshore wind turbine development with German VENSYS technology partnership for 15MW turbines. Through this approach, Unison aims to secure a portfolio of 4.49 GW of offshore wind capacity, 0.78 GW of onshore wind capacity, and 2.14 GW of O&M capacity.
To support this expansion, Unison will strengthen domestic supply chains by expanding manufacturing facilities and establishing an AI-based O&M management center. These initiatives are designed to reduce the levelized cost of energy and accelerate market entry in the wind energy sector.
The company's strategic shift reflects its commitment to contributing to the revitalization of the domestic wind energy ecosystem while positioning itself as a comprehensive player in the industry beyond traditional turbine manufacturing.
