As the government rolls out a strategy to foster the wind power industry as a key green sector at the national level, the competitiveness of South Korea's domestic wind turbine industry is expected to accelerate.

In particular, securing initial operating results for domestically produced large-scale wind turbines and expanding demonstration opportunities have been presented as policy tasks, drawing attention to whether a foundation will be laid for domestic turbine manufacturers to transition from the technology development stage to actual business application.

Unison announced on October 7 that it participated as a wind energy company in the "Korean Green Transformation (K-GX) Strategy National Report Meeting" held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The National Report Meeting was organized to publicize the government's K-GX strategy and private investment plans and to promote green transformation as a national growth strategy. The event was attended by government officials, economic organizations, and experts, as well as companies selected as the nation's top 10 green industry developers, including Hanwha Q Cells, POSCO Holdings, LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Unison.
