Ørsted, a global offshore wind company, Windlake, a specialist in military-related licensing and impact analysis for offshore wind, and Inha University have launched a cooperation framework to jointly address military-related issues in offshore wind development.

Ørsted, Windlake and Inha University signed a memorandum of understanding on September 9 to cooperate in offshore wind and military-related fields.

The MOU was pursued to establish a cooperation foundation encompassing military matters that may arise during offshore wind farm development, as well as technology and policy exchange, stakeholder cooperation, licensing and business development issues, and knowledge exchange and talent development.
