A policy forum will be held to discuss plans for building a "Jeju-type Wind Power O&M Support Cluster" that links Jeju offshore wind industry with RE100.
The Jeju Provincial Council's Future Economy and Industry Committee, along with the Climate Justice Center Arc, Pacific Environment Foundation, Energy Citizens Coalition, and Energy Transition Forum will hold a related policy forum on October 8 at 2 p.m. in the main conference room of the Jeju Provincial Council.
RE100 Application to Offshore Wind Support

At this forum, plans will be discussed to apply RE100, which means using 100 percent renewable energy, to the support cluster that Jeju is promoting, which includes an offshore wind O&M center and a spare parts hub.
In particular, linking the offshore wind industry with regional RE100 and expanding it to ports and industrial complexes to develop it into a Jeju-type offshore wind industry ecosystem will be addressed as a key agenda item.
