Gochangnoeul Renewable Energy (GCR), an offshore wind developer, and 3JCNS, a digital transformation specialist, have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) to implement comprehensive digital transformation across the entire lifecycle of renewable energy projects.

The partnership will focus on applying advanced digital technologies including AI-based SCADA systems, digital twin technology, and predictive analytics solutions to large-scale projects. These technologies will be progressively implemented starting with GCR's flagship Gochangnoeul offshore wind project, which has a capacity of 230MW.

Through this collaboration, the two companies aim to enhance operational efficiency, optimize maintenance schedules, and improve overall project performance by leveraging artificial intelligence and digital transformation capabilities. The digital twin technology will enable real-time monitoring and simulation of wind farm operations, while predictive analytics will help anticipate maintenance needs and reduce downtime.

This partnership represents a growing trend in the renewable energy sector, where companies are increasingly adopting digital technologies and AI solutions to maximize the efficiency and profitability of wind energy projects throughout their operational lifespan.
